Halloween hits the world’s zoos
Saturday, October 31st, 2009Usually it’s just human folk slipping into spooky costumes and playing trick-or-treat, but plenty of the world’s most exotic zoo animals are taking to Halloween this year too.
Some of the most ferocious animals from zoos around the world are getting into the spirit with jack-o’-lantern pumpkins.

She wasn’t kidding: The American Film Institute’s decision to transform its venerable fall film showcase (October 30-November 7) from a paid event into a gratis one is an unprecedented gesture for a festival of this size and stature.
